This wedding was truly the best way to wrap up my blessed year.
I knew from the start, Michael and Josh were pretty special. When they asked me to capture their wedding day, I was so thrilled. These two lovebirds had been corresponding with me, over email, for months. They were on opposite sides of the country, working their respective jobs, while trying to plan a wedding to take place smack dab in the middle of the country. Anybody who can make the long-distance thing work has got my respect. I can't even handle being away from my dog for more than a day. Mad props, yo.
Just as soon as I thought I couldn't be more impressed with Michael and Josh, I arrived at the venue. Then I met them in person. Then I met their family. And their friends. And I watched two people, very much in love, spread their joy to everyone around them.
As a follower of Christ, I strive to love and serve those around me. As a photographer, my mission is the same. And my job becomes less of a "job" when I am blessed with clients who are receptive to it. It's even more of a blessing when they have the same goal for their own lives. And from what I can tell, Michael and Josh love and serve the crap outta e'erbody.
Plus, they have impeccable taste in music.
Thank you, Michael and Josh. Your big day will go down in the books as one of my favorites.
May God continue to bless you both.
May God continue to bless you both.
This sweetheart's name is Simba. He was the sweetest. Also the ginormous-est.
